Old School Hip-Hop Review - Main Source "Breaking Atoms"

1991 - (Wild Pitch Records) - This Album is considered a Hip-hop Classic in it's own right. It was given five mics when the Source had real Hip-Hop heads listening to the music. There is a lot that I can say about this album but those reading this who are familiar with what Main Source did, I need not to reach. "Watch Roger Do His Thing" is my track of favorite. It's a song with hard beats and tight rhymes about positive brothers trying to do the right things with their lives is why. "Live At The Barbecue" is probably the most recognized of all songs on this unprecedented album. The song features a fresh kid named Nasty Nas. A creative masterpiece with very little flaws if any. Large Professor, K-Cut and Sir Scratch put together something for all of us to carry with us for a very long time. If your ever looking for some early 1990s Hip-Hop you won't have to look that much further than this.
